dunno, it gave me hope :P

When did you send in your app?

S received acceptance today!

1560 old SAT/2370 new SAT/3.6uw gpa/4.4w gpa

Good luck to all!

how do you have a 3.6 uw gpa and a 4.4 w gpa...Your school must weigh honors and AP classes highly...

I think its the same weighting system that most other schools use. For example, if you get an A in an honors or AP class, on the 4.0 scale, that A counts as a 5.00. My S took a lot of Honors and AP classes. I know he will have completed a total of 9 AP classes by the end of this year. I don't know how many honors classes he took, but he took AP or Honors in all the "major" subects.....Math, Science, English, Foreign Language, etc.

hmm, but a .8 differential? either way congrats on your son

Got mine a few weeks ago. Thrilled.
