<p>NEWS: I emailed Lisa and she said that they select up to four alternates PER STATE.</p>
<p>Well, that just crushed my hopes a little… They really might want to think about rewording the way they put that on the site.</p>

<p>wow. so i was rejected, which is very disappointing, but i have accepted it. I find out a minute ago that another girl at my school, with a lower gpa, lower test scores, an average essay, and NO recommendation got it. I just don’t even know what to think… ouch.</p>

<p>I’m an alternate for Alabama. 
My town was one of the towns hit hardest in the tornadoes last week and our mail has obviously been nonexistent. I was so excited when I got it in the mail. Hopefully someone drops out… haha :)</p>
