Congressional Page or TASP?

<p>Don't count your chickens before they hatch....apply to both and see which one you accepts you. If you are accepted into both, then you will have a choice to make. Right now, you do not know if you have made it into TASP. Good luck!</p>

<p>Looking at the TASP website, it seems like an opportunity for rising seniors to spend a summer in an intensive, college-like environment, focussing on one topic. That sounds great, but isn't that what the students will all experience in college and/or graduate school? </p>

<p>OTOH, Congressional page sounds like it could provide a totally novel experience that no college or university could ever provide.</p>

<p>I personally didn't attend either, but there is a sort of experience that a small close-knit program can provide that no college can, no matter how small. Such small, compact, and close-knit programs often foster a community of students who may even be described as la creme de la creme of top students. There is a completely different feel and experience to these programs that can't be recreated later. Just my two cents.</p>

<p>Definitely TASP, although good luck getting into TASP lol. Hopefully you're essays are ridiculously amazing..</p>
