<p>Has anyone been accepted into the program? Did you feel that it was beneficial? Describe your experience. </p>
<p>Also, the congressmen who accept applications to the program in my state/district are both Republican, while I'm a Democrat (I'm active in Young Democrats and I'm interning for a Democratic campaign this summer). Is this a huge disadvantage?</p>
