Congressmen with NO nominations?

I am reminded of how Kermit the frog would sing his song these days:

It's not easy being grey . . . .

(Bill - I just spit out my coffee over that one! I'm pretty sure New Jersey invented the grey frog -- somewhere near the Turnpike) Thanks!

I know nothing about multiple nominations, or trading nom's, but I can tell you if there's a MOC branded as "anti-military," it's our rep. She was the sole House vote against the Patriot Act.

She nominated my son last year -- he got NAPS -- and she nominated him again this year.

"She was the sole House vote against the Patriot Act."

171 Congresspersons (House of Rep) voted against the renewal of the Patriot Act.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/07/21/patriot.act/index.html

66 Congresspersons voted against the original Bill passed in 2001 (10 of the no votes came from California Reps).

http://www.bordc.org/involved/concerned/votingrecords_detail.php?bill=1

I don't think she was the sole vote against the Patriot Act--probably political disinformation that starts getting accepted as "fact"---a lot of it being thrown around by both party's, one must be careful these days.

You're right, Shogun, and I knew that. Not sure what I was thinking. Maybe just 'cause she caught so much flack for it.

Voting againt the Patriot Act means you are anti-military?

The average American has no appreciation for how much their civil liberties [does * anybody * remember the Constitution these days?], in ways large and small, have been eroded these past few years.

these past few years.

...and long before then, too.
