So I'm going through Barron's Math II book, trying to absorb everything I can in less than two weeks:) and I was wondering if I really need to know about conics...I didn't learn about them and there are so many facts I have to memorize...for those who took it, about how many questions were on the conic section??

Thanks for the help!

i had the same problem wen i was preparing for the test, although i had enuf time to learn most of the things

wen I actually did the test, the only questions related to conics only involved circles

however, i do recommend you learn the other things if you have time

The Nov test only had like 2 questions on conics and they were very simple

o good:0 i won't bother too much about conics then!

There weren't any conics on November; not that I remember, anyway.

For last last June, I remember one that involved conics in polar coordinates. There may have been one more in cartesian though. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to get those points if you can, so I wouldn't advocate totally blowing it off.

There was one I think when I took it june 2008.
It was simple though..just finding the equation of an ellipse or hyperbola?

If you have time, just review the basics about conics.
It would be nice to get those couple of points if it actually shows up
