Conics in AP Calculus BC

<p>How much did yuo guys stress on Conics on AP Calculus BC? </p>

<p>It was removed from our Pre-calculus curriculum 3 years ago and we only did circles, but I took another course myself on Conics (long forgotten though); do you guys stress alot on it? </p>

<p>I know the Polar stuff sort of overlaps with it, but did you guys do anything about ellipses and the y = -x, x asymptotes?</p>

<p>Though we’re not there yet (we start that chapter on Thursday), I think my teacher mentioned that only polar conics are in the BC curriculum.</p>

<p>i don’t think polar conics on BC exam. Only things involving polar are the basics of polar graph, derivative of polar graph, area, and arc length.</p>
