How many problems are on conics because I can't stand conics. I just get annoyed from all the formulas and facts for the section.

probably just 1 problem

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I never got the precise formulas memorized and still scored an 800. I didn’t get any conic questions on my test, but I suppose I got a little lucky. If there is a conic question on the test, it will probably have something to do with completing the square… which, let’s be frank, isn’t too hard to understand.

If you happen to get a question any more difficult than that, you would be horribly unfortunate.

I don’t think a conic question appeared on the June 2010 Math II exam. And honestly, I think any conic question can be handled with a calculator.

^ Yes, the June 2010 Math II exam is the exam I took. It was fairly easy. No matrices, conics, or any frightening topic for that matter.

I don’t remember any conics on my test; just a box-and-whisker plot, which I hadn’t looked at in like ten years. Occasionally there will be one or two tricky problems, but I wouldn’t worry too much.

If I remember correctly, I did not run into any conics problems back when I took the test.
Ironically, the barrons prep book, on the otherhand, had like 5-8 conics problems in some of its practice tests lol
