Connected (Warren Freshmen)

So my book "Connected: The Surprising Power of Our Social Networks and How They Shape Our Lives" just came in. Anyone start reading it yet? Are we suppose to finish it before orientation?

LOL…oh god. That sounds like warren writing #1 in book form to me.

Where do we find what books we need? lol I didn’t really know we had summer assignments aside from getting all the paperwork right

Yeah I doubt they’d assign you summer reading. It’s probably a required book for Warren writing, as xpenguin indicated. But maybe call the academic advising office or someone on campus to be sure hahaha

Haha, you don’t have summer homework, don’t freak out. When I took warren writing, we had readers for the class. I’m not sure if they’re going to change it or not to actual books but if they do, it’d be a lot better of a class. But the first warren writing (WCWP10A) is about the internet and how it shapes us which is what that book sounds like it’s about.

The orientation email said speakers would be talking about this and that we might as well get a head start reading it since its for Warren Writing.

Do they really lend you the book. Did i waste my money buying it? LOL

You didn’t waste your money buying it, yeah it’s for warren writing 10A apparently now. I just checked the booklist for WCWP10A and it was listed.
