<p>So i was checking out the Connecticut College site and I came across something that said only 45% or students get financial aid. In my book thats not that much. Is it because they're stingy or because the school is full of a bunch of preps who don't need it?</p>
<p>Connecticut College is certainly not “stingy.” However, according to the most recent Common Data Set, only 46% of the student body was determined to need financial aid. This doesn’t necessarily translate into CC being “full of a bunch of preps,” but it does mean that a majority of students come from families with sufficient income to make them ineligible for need-based financial aid using the Federal and institutional methodologies.</p>
