Connecticut college or Gettysburg college

So after narrowing my college list I am deciding between Conn and Gettysburg. They are very similar schools and I am having trouble making my final decision. I was wondering if anyone had an thoughts on either of the colleges. This could be anything from the social life, surrounding areas, facilities/campus, or academics...

thanks

My son is now a senior at Conn and he couldn’t have been happier with his decision to go there. Loves the friends he he has made, which run the gamut (if we have to pigeonhole people!) from artsy, to athletic, to preppy. He has pretty much enjoyed (with maybe a couple of more boring exceptions) every course he has taken there. It is easy to get to know the professors; the classes are all small. The administration takes an interest in the education and the well-being of the students. New London is even fun in a funky way, and Mystic a brief ride away is a charming town. He has loved the location in that it is easy to hop on an Amtrak train and travel to Boston or NYC for the weekend. He has been involved in many activities which he has really enjoyed, and taken a leadership role in some of them. The campus is very beautiful, and from the highest point you can see across Long Island Sound to Long Island. It looks like the quintessential New England campus, with its granite buildings and large green. He has been very happy with the social life. He has received several grants so that he could do unpaid internship work in the summers. He studied abroad during his junior year and loved that. Through the CELS program he has received lots of help working on his resume for after he graduates. As parent I could not have been happier with his choice.

If you get into both, go to accepted student days at both. You will probably have a pretty clear picture once you have done that.
