And what do you guys think of Oberlin and Lafayette college? Are they known to give a lot of financial aid to international students?

Have you looked at Denison University in Ohio? They are looking for more international students. The website says there’s no application fee for overseas applicants. They have a January 15 deadline.

I will look at it, thank you very much!

And I asked advice to people and they all told me that Skidmore gives a lot of aid but to very few international students. Chances that they accept me with full aid are minimum :(

i have to bump

Chances that any college will accept you with aid is minimum. That’s no reason NOT to apply.

I agree with International95. Apply to Skidmore and include Dickinson.

And would you guys advise me to apply to Lafayette or Franklin and Marshall? Or both…? The thing is I don’t have enough money right now.

At the most, I can only choose 2 from Lafayette, Franklin and Marshall, and Dickinson, and the three of them are said to give good aid to internationals

Look at vibe, majors, special programs, etc. We can’t decide for you.
For all it’s worth, all three schools are pretty similar and they’re even located nearby each other.

Oh they all have pretty similar computer science majors, but what I was trying to ask was if they all offer the same amount of financial aid to internationals?

I read their website but couldn’t find any International Student Fact Sheet, or something like that, so I don’t know how many admitted students are with aid, or if my chances at the 3 of those colleges are the same

You won’t find such information.
You’ll just have to pick the two you like best.
Go to the colleges’ forums and ask questions about social life, dress style (casual? formal?), the vibe (conservative? hippie? politically active or apathetic?) What do people do on a weekend? How many classes are required for distribution requirements, and what type? Where can you study “off campus”, do they have a semester in a big city? Is there an international student club? A club for students with your faith? What’s the food like? Are the dorms comfortable? Would you have one roommate, or two (ie, “be tripled”)? Are your favorite sports offered for club or intramurals?
etc, etc
