<p>Has anyone received word yet? I have a couple of people that said they already were admitted, but plenty of others that are waiting to hear. I don't see a definite date in which they inform. Do they only inform via regular mail?</p>
<p>If I get waitlisted, does anyone have past knowledge/history on odds of getting in off of the waitlist at CC?</p>

<p>They sent out mail last friday, the 26th [Facebook account]. If you’re an international student, they said they’d email you in advance. </p>

<p>I got admitted to Yale EA and an early write from Bowdoin and yet waitlisted at Conn . . . weird.</p>
<p>I got rejected. My letter arrived yesterday, and I live in NY.</p>
<p>^Skifreak I know Conn is a school that likes knowing it’s the first choice school. They were more likely to take in people who made it their #1 and made that obvious. And they’ve never had so many applicants before, so who knows? </p>

<p>Yeah, Conn is a crapshoot due to its selectivity, although not as much as Yale is. Maybe there’s some yield protection going on, too.</p>
<p>skifreak01…i can not believe that! I couldn’t even think about applying to Yale a school like Yale! Conn selections have bee strange this year.
As said before, perhaps they knew that Conn may not be your 1st pick?</p>
