Connecting with more students

I am a student a Boston University undergraduate. I am dealing with a little culture shock, but I’ll get over it. I was told by a friend international student that attends Suffolk University to try out an app called cuaround, llc in the app store that automatically connects you with other students at your school using your school email address. It connects you based on the same major, interest, etc.

I am shy, so something like this will really allow me to connect more with other students at my school besides clubs, sports.

Has anyone in here tried it before?

That may work, but it is always better to talk to someone in your same class.

Or RAs in your dorm

You may have more success liking facebook pages of the clubs and organizations you are interested in or trying to connect with people at the clubs when you participate.
