Usually do better. With me, it’s either perfect or I just can’t figure out the last two. This one I guessed too quickly on an easy set. Uggh.

On the bottom, it says how many more tries. I think it is 4. I wrote down what I thought would be paired, and even had to look up 2 of the words.
It would helpful if we could share after a certain time, but that is a group decision.

Yes, you can make up to 4 errors. If only one of your selections is incorrect it’ll say “one away”. If more than one, the tiles will shake.
After you’re out of tries it’ll display the correct solution.

i think you can just replay it if they are archive games at least. i replayed the 8/15 game like 8 times!!
thing is, some of the groupings that i come up with make sense . . . but they arent what the author was thinking. You have to figure out that part.

I do spelling bee, mini crossword, wordle, letter boxed and now connections. Connections is hardest because I just don’t know some of the references.

Got it with no mistakes today. Getting the hang of it. But the last entry was via exclusion: otherwise would never have guessed.

I LOVE this game, maybe even more than Wordle. It really makes you think. I won yesterday and the day before, but lost today. My tip is to shuffle the words before beginning and after each wrong guess. You might see another category possibility.

I play Wordle, Spelling Bee, and the daily crossword (NYT). I won’t go near this one–I don’t need more games in my life.

I just looked at it and I had attempted it on the NY Times and failed. When I tried it today, I ended up getting it right, but I was having a hard time figuring out the differences between group 3 and group 4 and then I remembered the categorization for one of the groups, which helped me solve it. But in no way, shape, or form do I think that would have come to me without having seeing the answer a couple of weeks ago!

I hadn’t seen that one, and I took a lucky guess on one of the combos. Fun one!
