connections program?

can someone tell me what this is like?
does it include intensive or not so intensive work?
how competitive are the chances of getting into connections?
would you recommend it for people who may not be 100% sure on their major?
will you have a higher chance of being successful in applying to medical schools outside of university of cincinnati?

thanks
:)

Hellooo…?

I will be honest with you- I have never heard of the connections program at UC. Can you explain what it is? I’m assuming it has something to do with getting a medical related job, but other than that… I don’t know.

"The Connections Program, a dual admissions BS/MD program, allows high school seniors to apply for and be accepted to both the University of Cincinnati undergraduate college and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine simultaneously. By having a reserved seat at a top- ranked medical school, our students have the freedom to explore other interests throughout their undergraduate years-all while still maintaining their focus on medicine. While the advantages of this program are many, only students who are high academic achievers, motivated to pursue a career in medicine, and interested in making the most of their four years in college are best suited for our program.
