I have an uncle and an aunt that went to Stanford and received PhDs there. Currently my uncle is a biology professor at John Hopkins University and I'm wondering if I can use that "link" somehow to favor my chances at Stanford admissions. As many of you guys may know, it's hard to get into Stanford without connections (I don't know why; I live in California and every person who I talk to about Stanford claims this "fact"), so would this work?

Ditto. Legacy only really counts for parents, grandparents and sibilings. Unless your uncle/aunt know someone in admissions, I doubt it will make any different. Even if you did want to come here to Hopkins, I don't think having a relative on the faculty would affect anything unless they can write specifically about things you've done (if you've done research with them or something like that).

I checked the Stanford application form. There is obviously a place to list your uncle and aunt. Some applications only want to hear about parents, grandparents and siblings, but Stanford isn't one of them.

Now whether this link will help you at all, I have no idea! But you may as well truthfully answer the question about relatives attending Stanford and hope for the best ...
