connections?

<p>I go to a school where pretty much all of my classmates have some form of connection to one of the ivies, like a board member. Now considering I don't have this, I am slightly worried. I was curious as to how much having a board member or even the chairman of the board as a connection is a hook into these schools?</p>

<p>You may have other qualities to offer......think about what you have and stop worrying about what others have. Perhaps you have an increased chance of admission simply by applying from such a fine school.....could that be???</p>
