<p>Does anyone know what the consequences are for dropping a class after the conventional drop deadline? I talked to the BioE advisor and she said that Cal doesn't track Ws, but that I should check with a few other organizations before actually considering any action. While I'm waiting for them to respond...any experience with this?</p>
<p>If it doesn’t show up on your transcript, there is no way for anyone to figure out you dropped a class after the deadline.</p>
<p>Yeah, finally found the CoE resources for this. L&S and CoE just don’t let you drop after a certain point, but otherwise it’s just the fee.</p>
<p>For summer session it shows up that you withdrew from summer on the transcript, but I don’t think it specifies when or what you took.</p>
