Conservative Colleges ...

"Conservative" doesn't always equate to "Christian" ... but more often, waaaaaay more often the terms complement than might conservative and secular, democrat, progressive, public, elite, and a whole bunch of other terms.

I'm attaching links for two things:

An interview of Dr. Thomas Sowell, Friedman Fellow at the Hoover Institute, Stanford, and a Harvard undergrad (He is NO fan of his alma mater) and U. Chicago Ph.D. (he values this experience highly BECAUSE of his specific interactions with his key professor who transformed his thinking. Find your own! It's not easy on today's campuses!) He's taught at a number of highly prestigious, elitist, "name" institutions as an economics professor. Perhaps you've seen some of his mountain of writing. Most recently, he's published a fascinating book discussing the fallacies of how intellectuals, i.e. those in certain, mostly academic professions misinterpret racial issues. Fittingly the book is "Intellectuals and Race." But I digress. In this interview, Professor Sowell makes a VERY POWERFUL, IMPORTANT point that many parents fail to give enough consideration to ... SELECTING a college that will not "brainwash" a student in the liberal, progressive mantre that is indidious, permeating many campuses, even many so-called Christian colleges. No surprise to anyone watching. JUST this day, I spoke with a mother broken-hearted by what a Brethren college did in turning her daughter overtly away from Christ, belittling and demeaning beliefs and values that her family hold near. Watch this if you've a mind to. And some of Dr. Sowell's other videos.

A link from the Young America's Foundation. This is an outstanding, highly credible conservative group for college students. Lots of great opportunities for participation and learning. Their list is like all such lists. Open to discussion, disagreeing, editing, etc. But it's a good resource that may be of some help.

Bump not a fan of liberals

I’m just kidding but actually very interested

Liberalism isn’t brainwashing. The whole idea of the most liberal schools in the country is to give students a way to avoid myopia and expand their intellectual horizons; they also look down upon the “God-intoxicated man” (Friedrich Nietzsche) for a reason.

Completely different then what you understand it to mean. ^

Classic Liberalism: i.e. Liberty and Liberal Arts (great books, latin etc)
is what you are referring to.

Liberalism in this regard deals with the political leftist culture that is with out a doubt prevalent in practically all American Colleges and Universities

Thanks for the link to the Sowell video. I love reading & listening to Sowell. He does resent Harvard. He didn’t attend his own graduation, he just had them mail him his diploma.
