i'm looking for a small school with a good engineering or computer science program that is conservative. Ideally it would be catholic but a christian one would work to.

I don’t know what section of the country you are interested in but Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington is supposed to be good for engineering.

People with a conservative political bent love Grove City ¶ if you have the stats to get in. It’s protestant, not catholic, but I’m told there are many different denominations there.

I second Creekland’s recommendation to look at Grove City College. Though Catholics are not in the majority, a significant number of Catholic students attend there.

Have you considered Marquette University in Wisconsin? or Dayton University in Ohio or Boston College or even Notre Dame? All four of these fine Catholic universities have good engineering schools. They might “look” bigger than they really are, especially when you consider the number of students enrolled in the engineering programs.

Here are a couple of others: Catholic University of America (DC), University of Portland (in Oregon), and Santa Clara University (CA)

I’m sure that others will be able to recommend more . . .

BC does NOT have an engineering school.

My bad. Thanks for the correction. They do have computer science, though. :)

Notre Dame’s is internationally recognized and very difficult to gain admission. Dayton’s program is also well recognized as a highly legitimate engineering school.
