Hello,

I was getting alittle worried about a lot of my essays and passions that I have in regards to colleges. I am from a military / diplomatic family full of conservatives that have done many great things for this nation. A lot of the colleges that I have I have applied/applying to all seem to be steadfast liberal, and I'm afraid that they're all going to reject me for it. Do you think these colleges play this kind of game?

In short, no.
Colleges want diversity--racial, economic, political, or otherwise.

If your political views do not match those of the student body, they certainly will not be counted against you.

The best of luck!

No, no they don't, and they won't. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the admissions officers would appreciate it if you can demonstrate that you really think for yourself, and thats true for someone holding any opinion. ilbisaac is right that colleges want diversity in all things, as it helps their image.

That's great to hear. Thank you.
