<p>@Ndirish1887, almost all colleges are liberal aside from BYU, Liberty, Bob Jones, and a few others that are incredibly conservative. Yes, George Mason is liberal and it is in the most liberal area of VA but Mason also has 30k students…you’ll be able to find a solid conservative base. You may see “Warren 2016,” written in chalk somewhere but I doubt people will be screaming at you to vote democrat. I wouldn’t base your search strictly on political leanings, there’s going to be conservative niches everywhere. Va Tech is somewhat conservative and has gorgeous campus. </p>
<p>@RehbergW from everything I’ve learned about W&M through applying this year I would say tell her to be herself. She shouldn’t purposefully try to seem more open-minded than she is but if she is really passionate about something then she should write about it. The supplement essay is all about you (or in this case her). She should write about something she loves</p>
