<p>Congratulations on a successful audition process!! Flute is extremely selective. I am sure you have all been told this since you first picked up the instrument. Always the longest lines at festival auditions, the highest number of applicants with the lowest number of spots open. So, once again…congratulations.<br>
D is applying for fall 2009 flute performance. We finished the audition tour a couple of weeks ago. (Did February even exist??) As of now, she is leaning more and more toward a university setting over a conservatory for undergrad. She is weighing her decision mostly on the teacher, what the school has to offer and her overall “feel” on audition day…
