<p>Lol my daughter also shed no tears at the no math/science requirement at her school, but the argument could be made that finance and nutrition should be part of the curriculum for all MT majors!</p>
<p>My D took nutrition and finance her senior year of HS and she found it useful. I’m sure given the option at college she will do the same</p>
<p>D graduated NYU (BM vocal performance) and she did go there because she wanted a more academic-oriented school. However for the math and science requirements (one of each), she was able to take a fairly basic computer class and nutrition. So, before you rule out schools for their academic requirements, I would look into what classes they can take to meet the requirement. Also, D had the option or taking both of those classes Pass/ Fail.</p>
