Consideration for topics

So I’m doing the “Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story” but I have absolutely no idea how far into my interests can I go. Is this applicable to things like anime? Would I have to keep it something less weird like sports or musical instruments? Thanks
