Considering rushing business frat

So I was a transfer student who rushed (but did not pledge) a social frat previously; the bid I received was for a house I just cannot imagine being associated with for the rest of my life. I must have made the right choice because their charter was revoked the same semester (I'm sure you won't have to guess which fraternity I'm talking about). I'm a pretty gregarious kinda guy though, and being a transfer has made it difficult making friends here (not that it's hard for me, just harder than it ever has been before) so I'm considering rushing a business frat. I have only heard about Phi Chi Theta and Alpha Kappa Psi, both of which I think are co-ed?

I like the idea of being part of a business frat because the networking aspect was the sole biggest reason I wanted to join the normal social frat, and I'm thinking that this would be just as strong, if not stronger, in that sense. I'm also thinking the whole philanthropic/community service factor would have a greater emphasis and feel more genuine.

Anyone here a member of any business frats? Am I right with my assumptions? Could you tell me what rushing entails? I have a friend who's an AKPsi at Binghamton U in NY and he said rushing was a gnarly amount of interviews, whereas my rushing experience with social fraternities had no "interviews" lol so I'm just wondering if this is true/how this is gone about. ANY INFO YOU'VE GOT APPRECIATED!

I don’t have experience with the business frat, but I am a brother of the professional chemistry fraternity. So if you have questions about that feel free to pm me. (I can only give limited information about the pledging process, and am uncomfortable doing even that on a public forum)
