Considering to transfer from UF to UNF, thoughts? Current UNF students?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>Because of family reasons (and not loving UF that much to be honest) I started considering transferring to UNF. I have all the courses to start with more specific classes on any type of engineering, I am considering mechanical. What do you guys know about UNF and its engineering school? Any UNF students can tell me the pros and cons? Is it true that it gets hard to find a spot in your classes once you get closer to graduation? Does that apply to engineering majors?</p>

<p>Not a lot of UNF students on the forums, you may want to try posting your question in the UNF forum. If nothing else, they do have a college rep “UNFAdmissions” who can answer some of your questions.</p>

<p>I recently talked with a senior who’s in the ME program. He was very happy with the program, and was currently working on his “Senior Capstone Design” project. His project was designing medical devices for Medtronic, here in Jacksonville.</p>
