Hi,
I am a sophomore at the University of Florida and basically I'm starting to hate it here. People aren't as friendly as in other colleges, the population is highly segregated by race and there are NO involvement opportunities unless you are Greek which I do not want to be. My GPA (even though im taking intro classes) is a 3.98, which is pretty good for UF. My SAT score was a 2110. I'm also double majoring in mechanical engineering and political science. My question is, if I'm not 100% happy here, should I transfer? I was considering Berkeley or UCLA, but my options are open as of now. If anyone can also enlighten me about whether you need to ask your high school teachers for letters of rec again (I finished high school in another country so this would be hard, but I am a citizen) that would be awesome.
Thanks to anybody that can help me make this decision!
