Considering transferring to St. Olaf College

I am currently a freshman at a public state university (University of Iowa) and I am looking into transferring to St. Olaf. I have already been accepted and received my financial aid package. I just want to know more about the school itself from those who are familiar with it, especially those whose transferred to/from St. Olaf. I just want to be sure that I am making the best decision and any information/honest advice would be useful. I would love to know more about the social life, classes, dorms (is living in a dorm all 4 years that bad?), off-campus housing, post-graduate life, etc. Thanks

There are rental properties with in walking distance to the campus. I don’t know what % lives off campus. I would say that it is not usual, but not uncommon- does that make sense?

Social life wise I think that it would be a good strategy to quickly get involved with some activities as a way of breaking the ice with other students.

Um ya ya!
