<p>So, I feel like a baby but whatever. So I have a C+ in APUSH. I'm a straight-A student usually. Now I'm worried that my GPA will drop and I will not be in the top 10% of my class. I know it'd stupid, but I don't know what else to do. FREAKING OUT. I'm a senior.</p>

<p>Study harder? Really? I study probably an hour or more each night for that class alone. The tests are all mc…I HATE MC. Everyone else does well because they cheat.</p>
<p>Oh please that class is so easy. I got an A+ in APUSH while taking 5 other AP classes. Obviously your study skills are not very good if you have to study over an hour every night and you still fail. Seriously, study harder! You need to be able to study a textbook by the time you get to college, or you will not succeed. Also, rank doesn’t matter at all, so stop worrying about your grade and start worrying about your inadequate study skills! Make them better! Peace and blessings from the abyss!!!</p>
<p>There are not many kids in that class with As, and everyone’s cheating. My teacher actually praised my grade. If it comes down to the matter of whether or not I’m studying hard enough, there’s no argument. I read each 20+ page chapter (1-3 chs per week), do the wksts, read the detailed notes, take my own notes, ask questions, pay attention in class, etc…seriously, there isn’t anything left to do that I haven’t done. Practically the whole class failed the test, and that’s why he let us correct our scores for .5 pt/problem.</p>
<p>I don’t know what your deal is. You can’t come on here and accuse someone of not studying enough when you don’t have a clue about the situation. Sure, I probably shouldn’t have complained like I did, but teens do and will continue to make mistakes. That’s inevitable, especially when we’re glued to the computer screen.</p>
<p>I can see how you may have gotten annoyed by my question, but what would you have done if you were talking to my face? Would you have cut me down like that if you had known me, like my teachers and friends? I don’t think so. If you’re going to hate, don’t do it here. Sure, you could say the same about my complaining, but the title was “consolation.” What did you expect? Joy and happiness?</p>
<p>Also, the only people I’ve heard say that APUSH was easy were the people who cheated. Advice from me: don’t say something’s easy if someone else thinks it’s hard: that’s what they told us in mentor training. It discourages them and makes them feel like crap.</p>
<p>Sorry to offend you dude. And it’s certainly true that APUSH is a lot more difficult at your school than mine, or most other schools for that manner. Let me put it this way, if your teacher is praising your grade, then obviously you are going to be prepared for the AP exam. And thats really all that matters in the long run yes? Especially when youre more prepared than your peers since you dont cheat and so on…</p>
<p>Dude, you’re a senior. Class rank doesn’t really matter for colleges if that’s your worry. The main concern is your mid year report…try to pull it up to a B at least B- if you can before the report is sent to your colleges. Given the rest of your grades are good, one slip up won’t make much of a difference in terms of senior grades.</p>
<p>And I’m sorry if I offended you also. I take offense to things easily sometimes. :)</p>

<p>RitaB1, I don’t go to a prep school or anything, so I don’t understand why my class would be more difficult than any other school’s. In fact, I just go to a local public school. I know a sophomore who wants to transfer to Exeter because it (the school) is too easy for him haha.</p>
<p>Some teachers are easier than others obviously, and some students are better at some subjects than others. Like almost everything, it really depends on the teacher and the individual. If you check some of the AP Exam Results threads, people mention if their teacher is known for having a 100% passing rate, and so on. Of course the curriculum in private schools is more rigorous and so on, but this is the most important factor for passing:

<p>Which is why some people rock AP classes and exams, and others struggle. Check your teachers pass rate, and decide for yourself. Hope this clears things up.</p>

<p>hey I have a D in that class… 65%…but the thing is, the teacher makes us do essays…not mc, i can handle mc’s. you need technique for the essays. i guess, i just have to study harder.ehhh</p>
<p>Good luck on raising the grade. I’m sorry that to have to deal with cheaters that’s how my apush class is everyone cheats on exams even the final because our teacher looks away or whatever but stay true to your ways don’t cheat. I don’t cheat and I’m proud of myself for it. Cheaters are pathetic and thankfully it will catch up to them</p>
<p>I’m happy to say that I was one of the only two people in my APUSH class that didn’t cheat and I got a 91 while everyone else got low Bs and high Cs. 
Karma will catch up to them eventually…</p>
<p>I would think maybe talking to the teacher might be a good idea. Not like “HALP MY GRADE IS BAD” but more like “I think I can do better, do you have any recommendations on things I can improve on?” </p>
