MIT is my second choice after Harvard (legacy), so if I don’t get to be with you guys, I’ll be right next door! :D

Parents made me apply even though I’m humanities oriented just because my math/science grades are okay; too much grief caused by this, so it definitely shone through in the application. Regardless, congrats to all those who got in! Hope you have a great time at MIT or wherever else you’re attending (and may your financial aid packages, if you need them, be huge!) :D

[/ul]General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: MIT picks peculiar people… some people that are passionate and qualified get rejected and some get accepted, some people that seem average also get accepted… the people who apply are already way above average. Tip to juniors: If you want to get into MIT you need to have great essays and do very well in higher level math and science classes. I don’t think I’m as engineering/science oriented as the typical MIT student. I also left this app for the very last day, was not an ideal school for me, although its incredible for engineering. Oh well cheers!
