• Summer Activites: Nothing special. Lots of community service, and flying back and forth from China to America.</p>

o What You Do For Pleasure: An internship engineering project at the University of Kentucky (I attend high school in Kentucky.) 7/10

Reflection
• Strengths: Unique schooling experience and how I overcame all the difficulties during my exchange year. SAT, GPA, AP loads, self-learning AP Calc BC/Physics C just for fun.
• Weaknesses: no amazing awards, changing high school every year in the past four years.
• Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: no idea.
• What would you have done differently? Maybe the interview.</p>
<p>General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc:
Only Dad and my English teacher encouraged me to apply to MIT, and honestly everybody else had literally told me that my application to MIT was an auto-rejection (I told my interviewer that, and he commented that I was very independent and persistent). Congrats to all who got in, and good luck to all who get wait listed! For those who are rejected, you guys are still as amazing as before, and don’t let one rejection letter get on you.</p>
<p>To people who will apply to MIT in the future: Just believe in yourself! MIT sees you more as a person than just scores or awards! GO MIT!</p>
