Honestly it may be better to stay an extra semester and finish up your pre-reqs and improve your gpa to have a better shot. Doesn’t hurt to apply this year though. Pm me if you want to know some easy A CCSF classes to improve your gpa.

That was my second option to just finish all my prereqs and try for winter. To guarantee my admission to UCSD I was thinking of completing IGETC but I am not sure if I can finish all the required classes. Would have to take Humanities/ Art, biological science, and English 1C.

I can’t decide which school I want to go to but I’m leaning towards UCSD… but I’m doing prereqs for all four schools, is that wise?.. and I know UCSD isnt particular about the essay so I might just do wtvr with that, but that means it will lower my chances for UCB/UCLA… iono what to do

I think you’re in at LA, Irvine, and SD, and I think your volunteer work makes Berkeley a very real possibility. I hope you make it into them all.

lakerforever24:

I know Haas is notoriously difficult to get into, but you should sue if they reject someone with your credentials. In for sure at SC and LA. I’d say “good luck”, but you don’t need it.

lilaterila:

I’m not sure what the NYU admissions process is like, so I can’t comment on your chances there. You’re in at LA with TAP. I hope all goes well with NYU if that’s your top choice.

Anyone else worried about when they actually transfer? I just hope the legislators have at least thrown a few band-aids on the budget mess by 2010 so we don’t have to worry about classes again after years of worrying about classes in the CC system.
