I was wondering if anyone would be willing to read my college essay…
I really need help and I would be VERY thankful if someone could read it…
Preferably someone done with high school…

I am, by no means, a writer so I was wondering if anyone could read the intro paragraph of my essay and offer advice on how I should improve it.

that will help a lot

I’ll review essays too, although it definitely looks like TheOmniscient has really good stuff out here.

I can read essays. I am a good writer (especially for my age), and have 700s on CR and Writing on the SAT. PM me!

I read and review often for people applying to Harvard, Deep Springs, Tufts, Rice, etc – as well as your average Smith or NYU! Send your essays by me. I’m honest and straightforward so I hope you appreciate that.

Hello all,

As I am on Winter Break, I am offering to read all college essay prompts and provide constructive criticism on your writing. In the past, I have reviewed supplement prompts for students who have been accepted to HYPSM, the Seven Sisters, Duke, Caltech, UChicago, Georgetown, Williams, Amherst, various UC’s and several other LACs and private/public research universities.

I am a freelance writer and I hold a profile on several writing forums across the web, and I’ve helped other students edit and revise their work, not limited to application writing, in the past as well.
I have sufficiently high scores on the SAT I Verbal and Writing sections, so I am also capable of pointing out any grammar flaws, illogical statements, or ambiguous language in essays.

Feel free to PM me any college essays for which you want some suggestions or advice.
All I ask is that you indicate that the message is about a college essay in the title, and that you include the prompt along with the essay.

Best,
-B^2

Hello all,

As my Winter break is nearing an end, I will not be offering to read essays anymore.
Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of requests, I only managed to get through around half the essays before my Inbox was flooded. I’ll be sure to offer assistance again in future times, but as for now, apologies to all whom I did not address on time. I’m aware that the deadline for many colleges is January 1st, but I’m not longer available for college essay proofreading.

Best,
-B^2

Can someone critique my essay?
Willing to read essays. Simply inbox me. I warn, however, that I will be harsh so as to help you improve. Do not send me an essay if you’re only fishing for compliments in which case you will reel in only a boot.
Happy to read anything just PM me! I’ve already sent in all of my applications just in case you need reassurance for plagiarism
@fizzy110 can I PM you my essay for Wellesley?
Finally finished all my applications! If any junior (or anyone, but I assume most seniors would be done by now) needs someone to read their essays for next year, I’d be happy to. I need to distract myself from all this anxious wait until April 1st somehow.
@thanksagain
Would you be willing to check some of mine out?
