Consolidated March 2010 SAT Full Score Conversion Chart

Here’s my guess on the writing curve:

49 - 80 - 12/800 - 11/800 - 10/800 - 9/800 - 8/780
48 - 80 - 12/800 - 11/800 - 10/800 - 9/760 - 8/740
47 - 78 - 12/790 - 11/770 - 10/770 - 9/740 - 8/720
46 - 74 - 12/770 - 11/760 - 10/740 - 9/720 - 8/700
45 - 71 - 12/760 - 11/740 - 10/720 - 9/710 - 8/680
44 - 70 - 12/740 - 11/720 - 10/710 - 9/700 - 8/670

woah, 10-9 with 48MC drops 40 points?

Yeah I’ll extend it when I get home from school.

heh, it’s mostly based on the existing curves, but I’m guessing at some points. Take it with a grain of salt.

I don’t know much about SAT essays, but from what I remember from 7th and 8th grade this one seemed like an easy topic. I would guess that the curve will be harder because of that.

An easy topic would be something that you can twist any classic book or historical topic into. This was a little more focused. I mean, all of them are focused. But with my experience with the SATs, this essay topic was a little on the harder side.

so r u guys saying that the math curve will prob be the hardest, and then writing which will be a bit more lenient and then cr as the best curve?

Most likely, yes. ^

is it clear which section was the experimental section? or does that vary from test to test? I know that I had two math sections with write-your-own-answer questions; does that mean that one section was experimental? (on my practice tests I’ve only had one set of write-your-own-answer questions.) please say yes; I had to skip two questions on one of those sections due to time restraints.

The experimental section varies for everyone. I personally had a Critical Reading experimental.

Yes, one of your math sections was experimental. Just hope that it was the one where you skipped two questions. :)

thank you, sir or ma’am! you’ve made my night!

You’re very welcome.

Damn, I had a raw score of 61 on Critical Reading and got a 720 – harsh curve.

I got a raw score of 61 on CR and got a 710. ***? Did you omit?

I got 5 wrong, no omits. So 67 - 5 - 1.

Oh I got 6 wrong, woops miscalculated my raw score, LOL. Fail, on my part. That’s probably why I got a 770 in math.

LOL, I got a 770 on Math, too!

But the CR curve looks like one of the harshest. I expected the Math curve to be harsh, but not the CR.

Oh wow… the CR curve was ridiculous.

3 wrong
0 omit
= 740??

*** It’s an irony that CR was the hardest in history and also had the worst curve in history. ■■■

What was the lowest raw score possible for a 700?
