Consolidated thread about leaked US News 2006 Rankings

I'm not the only one dissing Penn and Duke. To quote an MIT newspaper: “Being tied with Duke and UPenn ... that’s brutal.”

http://www-tech.mit.edu/V122/N40/40usnews.40n.html

barrons: Could you possibly look up a few schools for me, I hate to ask, so if you don't have time I understand.

BU
Northeastern
Richmond
Catholic U. of America
George Washington U.
American U. (D.C.)

Thank You!

pretty much the same as last year, Harvards top range went down 10. How about Dartmouth, UChicago, WUSTL, and Rice?

53........................

Ok...your support is now at two. Gutrade and a girl from MIT. Notice these kids said MIT should be higher than YP.

In a word....

Naw

I can't believe UT Austin isn't on that list. Much as I love, say, Penn State, there's no way it's above UTA.

Binghamton's ranking?

74 with Indiana?? and Minn????? and MSU??

It was out on the shelf at Books a Million in Dupont Circle, DC. I thought this was strange because Borders and B&N did not have it. (I even asked them to look in the back.)

Were they not supposed to have it out there?

BBall, it was a joke! I'm not the one having multiple accounts and then using them to have conversations with one another. I doubt that you're THAT busy if you have time to converse with yourself. Send collegekid my regards.

Im still laughing over that. bball87 and collegekid1988 (the same person) having a conversation with himself. bball87/collegekid1988, how are those upenn transfer papers coming?

BU-60
Northeastern-115
Richmond-34 LAC
Catholic U. of America-120
George Washington U.-53
American U. (D.C.)-85

^ Thank you.

Since I'm most curious about the UC system, how do the rest of the UCs (Santa Cruz and Riverside) rank?

Maryland, UMiami, OSU, JMU? btw, how come Richmond is now ranked in LAC. It has always been 1 under masters. are there other schools under the regional category that have been switched to a National/LAC ranking? what does it take for a college to switch categories?

so barrons are you going to post the top 20 universities according to peer ranking...

also did you do that check about penn

what number is UT Austin, Texas A&M, and Baylor overall? Thanks

Someone mind posting the Top 10 UG Business rankings?

Those were posted somewhere.

Also, barrons, is the post #2 on this thread which has all of the rankings correct? My post had some differences (specifically the rankings of the #22 and #34 schools).
