<p>I believe it’s only offered in the fall. It’s a relatively new course, so it’s still listed as a special projects course: CHE 491-011.</p>

<p>Bama’s college of nursing is awesome. They have like a 100% (or close to it) passing rate for state boards.</p>

<p>You mean the projector screens? Most likely they are rolled up in their own compartment tucked into the ceiling. In one of the photos I think you can see the hatch, flush with the ceiling.</p>

<p>I imagine that they will at some point…that’s the think colleges do these days to save space.</p>

<p>however, since building them is expensive, I wonder if Bama is going to use the Bryce property as cheap parking land for a bit.</p>

<p>I also think Bama should charge discounted parking costs for kids to park during the week in the Bama RV gameday lots. Some kids rarely use their cars, so leaving them there Sunday-Thurs on Game day weeks and every day on other weeks would free up some spaces.</p>

<p>*“A key component of the design is to **build interest in engineering by putting ‘engineering on display’ in a manner that will allow the activities in the laboratories to be easily observed by the students and public from a central concourse overlooking the main laboratory spaces,” **according to the project summary of the building.</p>

<p>In addition, the board approved a resolution to continue construction of the** seven-story North Bluff Residential Community that will overlook the Black Warrior River, provide 971 new residential beds and cost about $57 million **, a reduction from the initial budget of about $66 million.</p>

<p>337 additional surface-parking spaces will come along with the building’s construction, according to the project summary of North Bluff.</p>

<p>The board also approved a resolution for the construction of an indoor tennis complex with six regulation NCAA hard courts to be housed south of the outdoor tennis complex existing on campus. The projected cost of the complex is $6 million. *</p>

<p>I believe it will go between Rose Towers and Hackberry Commons.</p>

<p>When I visited campus for the Iron Bowl this last year, they had already cleared land or done some kind of site prep work, upon which they would build this new dorm. It is going to have a huge area on top of the new dorm, in which the university and student groups can have social functions. Will have amazing views of campus, given that it will be seven stories high.</p>

<p>I believe Rose Towers is to be torn down and replaced, apparently beginning this summer.</p>

<p>Can’t be this summer, Rose Towers is supposed to house freshman next year.</p>

<p>The demolition of Rose Towers will be delayed until next summer, unless things change. In the two years I’ve been here, there’s also been talk of demolishing Paty, Palmer (Mallet), and Somerville as soon as this summer, although now they appear to be staying. The Highlands was also supposed to be demolished last summer, then housing decided to use it for an additional year, and now it’s not slated to be demolished.</p>
