hey do you guys think that it is a good idea to contact your regional adcom as if you would contact the associate director of the program you wish to attend?!?...i recently attended an info-session at penn which was given by an adcom and he gave a lot of insight....so i was wondering is it proper to go ahead and email or call them?!?

it won't work if your application is weak.

It's fine to contact them, just don't be bothersome or persistent.

Only do this if you have a real question to ask that's not already answered on the college website. Another reason to contact adcoms would be if you have major achievements after submitting your application.

Don't just contact them to kiss up. They are busy, and can see through that kind of garbage that wastes their time.
