Whats the best way to contact the office about scholarships without sounding too greedy or demanding? I've already been accepted to the school I want to enroll in next fall, UCF, but need scholarship money for it to be feasible. I just don't really know how to phrase my email to them. I know my stats put me pretty much at the top of their freshman applicants but I don't know how much help they give out of state students and what type of award to expect.

Thanks for the help!

I think you summarized your email pretty well in this thread. Introduce yourself as an accepted student and explain how you wish to learn a little bit more about possible scholarship money for out of state students (although.. shouldn't their website provide some of this information? or haven't they sent you fin aid stuff already?).

Also, it's always quicker and easier (imo) to call up the fin aid office to direct your questions. The whole process is a lot more personable, and in some cases even friendlier, than a brief email.

They haven't sent me anything yet. I only know that I've been accepted because of their online system.
