Contacting professor who interviewed me a month before

Hi,

I am computer science major, and I am applying for ph.d program. I had an interview with a professor a month ago, but I haven't heard anything back from him since. He seemed to be interested in me but dislike the fact that I applied to a lot of schools.

I am thinking about contacting him regarding my admission. But I am worried that since I don't have any admissions so far, he will lose more interest in me.

Do you think I should contact him again or not? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Contact him. Remind him of who you are since it has been a month. Thank him for his time and effort and reiterate your interest in working with him.

Did you contact (and thank) him within a week of the interview (via email) and follow common courtesy? If so, you really shouldn’t need to contact him again. (That initial contact following the interview is how you appropriately reiterate your interest.) He’s probably busy and you may annoy him if you send him unsolicited emails during (or after) decisions are being (have been) made.
