<p>I know that out of courtesy you should contact schools that you've been accepted at but are not going to. However, it's already May 1st, and I still haven't done so? Is it a big deal if I send "decline of admission" responses tomorrow or later? Thanks.</p>

<p>Do it anyway, takes two seconds. (I emailed all my schools, put in contact information for confirmation just in case)</p>
<p>Any reason not to do it? It's too late to change your mind - deadline has passed. Just do it (today, tomorrow, Saturday). Remember - it is MUCH better just to mail the card with a checkmark today than to send a long "nice letter" in a week. They may not even read your letter, but they need your answer. Otherwise they will have to wait for another week to make sure that all mail snails arrived.</p>
