Contacting Undergrad Admissions

I recently had a question regarding a college's policy on sending scores, so I went to the website but found the wording vague. I saw an email for sending questions so I asked them a very specific questions and got a reply that seemed very short, very irritated, and almost arrogant - as if I should've known. They also copied and pasted the exact quote that confused me into the email (no help). When I apply to this school, will an email conversation like this affect how they consider me in any way? Does communication with the college go into making a decision?

Probably not. They receive plenty of emails from a lot of students. I highly doubt that an admissions officer would track down your email while making admissions decisions.

I would mention in the email that you did check the website but wanted to clarify it further.
