Continue or Withdraw

the response is not too helpful... should i call them?

the thins about dropping is that it might jeopardize my chance on getting in.

hey adaminite im a in a similar situation as you.. i might have to drop Calc 2 except calc 2 is a pre-req for econ major for basically all Ucs, so let me know what they say..

If you add or drop a course, it can affect your admission decision. A low grade in the class can also affect your admission decision. It is important that you review the transfer course requirements for your chosen major online at www.admission.ucla.edu. Other than the information I have supplied, I cannot advise you on any academic course changes. Maybe your academic counselor at the community college can assist you better.

and I replied....

Dear UCLA Admission Office,

This is not my major requirement. Is it going to hurt me as much as if it were a major requirement?

Sincerely,

If you finished Calc 2, Calc 3 should be relatively easy, but a lot more boring

really? this was just the first test. and i think i bombed it.

Lol, this reminds me so much of myself last semester...Except i was in a much easier Stats class (I'm just an english major). I thought i bombed my first test, and seriously contemplated dropping it. I was so worried and thought i blew it because it was already past the withdrawal without W period....turned out i got a B- on the test. I'd wait it out and try hard for a bit if i were you. just make sure if you are going to drop it that you do it while you can still atleast get a W.
