continuing education

Hi all,

I've got a question on how to go about finishing a degree. I was never really interested in school so I just took a few courses over the last ten years and have a GPA of 1.7 after somewhere's between 24 - 40 credit hours.

But I was given an offer at my job that requires a degree and now have the motivation to finish it. So, when applying to a college to finish this plan, can I retake certain courses where I didn't do very well to lift my GPA? Or do I need to include those courses for applying to a new school?

What would be the best way to go about doing this? Any advice much appreciated.

Most colleges require all previous transcripts. You could try retaking the courses at a community college and move from there. Whether or not your previous grades will appear, even if you retook the class, I’m not sure.

Take this question to your local community college. They see students exactly like you every single day of the week and will know what to do.

Wishing you all the best.
