Continuing into graduate education at same college

Hey Everyone

I am currently a senior studying Civil Engineering (specializing in structural) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have a gpa over 3.5, I am very involved in campus activities, I have a lot of internship experience and I am starting a research project this fall.

RPI has a special program where students can start taking grad programs during their undergrad education and complete a masters along with their bachelors in approx 5 years.

I am currently on this track, but I have been wondering if it would be more beneficial to go to a different school to do a masters. From an employers point of view, would it be better to get a masters else ware?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

For a master’s, it won’t really matter.

Many schools have this similar process, 5th year for masters. Normally it is additional classes, 3 terms, at undergrad tuition, no thesis, no financial aid.
