Continuing merit scholarships?

Does anyone know when they send out decisions for merit scholarships for current CoE undergrads (or if they already did)? I know the deadline was June 1st, and I thought they said they would meet to decide in the 2nd week of June, but I haven't heard anything.

I called recently and they said it might not appear on your Financial Aid Info page until July. Particularly if you had received a merit scholarship and maintained eligibility. They generally get the information out to new enrollees first. I guess they figure that they have us hook line and sinker. I just wanted to make sure we don't need to pull out a big loan before August 31st!
I am also hoping that since daughter declared her major that there might be more consideration for additional scholarship money.

Wow, I didn't know they gave out merit scholarships for continuing students. I thought they were for recruiting students. So how big are they? Do you have to apply for them? How hard are they to get? What criteria do they use?

Thanks for the info nagihciMmoM, and good luck to your daughter.

rkbgt - I'm not exactly sure how big the scholarships are, but you can apply for them if you have above a 3.0 and have completed at least one term. Not sure how hard they are to get - I think it says they give out less than 200 for the whole college, so you'd probably have to be in the top 5% to have a chance for one.

Hmm...Anybody heard anything about these scholarships yet?
