I am a rising senior and throughout my high school career i have taken all honors spanish classes, and last year as a junior i skipped from spanish 3H (soph year) to spanish 5 (a senior level course). Now i have the option of taking AP Spanish but it doesn't work in my schedule. Would it be AWFUL to not take it senior year....would Tulane look down upon that?

No, I wouldn’t think so. You have pretty much gone as far as you can with what your school offers, and they know there will always be potential conflicts in schedules. You can certainly mention it to your admissions person at Tulane or have your guidance counselor mention it in their evaluation of you.

I don’t have a clue how hard self-studying for the AP Spanish test is, but it might be worth doing. If you get at least a 4 you get 4 credit hours.
