Continuing Students Housing..

I'm a transfer student so I am limited to the buildings below..
I guess the most important thing to me is having gated/ underground/ structured parking, and socializing. Which are the top 4 that I should put on my housing application?

Annenberg House (ANH)
Century (CAP)
Cardinal Gardens (CAR)
Cardinal "n Gold (CNG)
Founders (FSA)
Max Kade House (GEX)
Honors House (HHR)
Parkside Suites (IRC)
La Sorbonne (LAB)
Manor (MAB)
Pacific (PCA)
Parkside Apartments (PKS)
Arts & Humanities Residential College (PRB)
Regal Trojan (RTA)
Stardust (SAI)
Sierra (SIE)
Seaver Residence Hall (SRH)
Severance Street Apts. (SSA)
Sunset (SUN)
Troy Hall East (TRE)
Troy Hall (TRH)
Vista (VIS)
Windsor (WIN)
Webb Tower (WTO)

Do transfer students choose their housing NOW? Continuing undergraduate students already chose. Anyways, as far as I'm concerned, I've heard (but have not necessarily verified) that the popular options are Webb Tower (on-campus apartments that were renovated a few years back, and is next to the Lyon Center, the school's gym), Cardinal Gardens (barely off-campus apartments, right across the street from Webb Tower), either of the Troy apartments (Troy Hall/Troy Hall East), the Parkside Suites (on-campus dorm, located on the southwest corner of campus, across from the Parkside Apartments and right next to the Parkside dining hall), and... I haven't heard about the rest. But I think most of the options I mentioned are already taken. I'm not sure if USC Housing reserves spots for incoming transfers; you'll have to ask someone else about that.

In terms of parking, I think it's tough to get wherever you are (whether on-campus or off-campus). I'd say that the disadvantage with an on-campus option is that you might get a parking structure that isn't necessarily closest as possible to where you live. I'm not exactly sure about parking options for off-campus living areas. You'll have to ask someone else about that, but the parking does seem gated for the most part.

I'd definitely ask for more opinions than mine because I've only lived on campus for one year. But yeah, I hope you find a place that you like!

We get to choose, but the chances of getting anything that we want are very very slim. =[
