Conversion Chart accepted?

Hey everyone!

I am currently in grade 10 at Ridley College, with a 90% average. I know that is good, but not stellar. The only thing not taken into account is the difficulty of my school. There is a conversion chart

<a href="http://www.ridleycollege.com/ftpimages/180/download/equivalency%20chart.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.ridleycollege.com/ftpimages/180/download/equivalency%20chart.pdf</a></p>

This means that I actually have a 4.00 GPA or 97%. My school is very difficult, being a private school in Canada, and I am at school from 8am - 8pm every day including saturday from 8am-2pm.

Will universities take this into account? Or will they base me off my 90%? Because that would be unfair as then I would only have a 3.67 GPA, which is not great.

Thanks, and I hope I don't come off as arrogant or cocky about my school, I'm just wondering!

Oh and on a side note, I look to apply to HYPS, WHarton, Cornell, NYU Stern, etc.

I think they would convert it, which would change you to that 4.0.

Colleges will generally look at your specific grades the the difficulty of your classes. Ridley is probably also a feeder school to highly ranked colleges so they will be aware of the grade structure and difficulty.
